Jeff Bonin owner of Rapture trolling flies spent the morning with us and we had a great time. we were 6 for 7 on a short half day trip. water levels are perfect and fresh Michigan Steelhead are showing up everywhere. We spent the morning fishing runs and seams next to pocket water and the half day trip turn out very nice. It was a great way for jeff to start out his spring break.

With water levels stabilizing and coming down a bit now the fishing has been getting better every day. The fly fishing is also picking up as you can see here. Derrick agot his first super slam today, with a Rainbow Trout, Brown Trout, Steelhead and a 12lbs Walleye. All were taken on a fly, WOW. Between the two boats they hooked over 35 fish. This was with both flies as well as bait.
