The fishing on the Muskegon River is still excellent. It did slow a bit today with the high blue sky and the reduction of water in the river. We were still able to hook up with over 15 Steelhead in the past two days and this Beautilful Brown Trout. All taken on the fly. We still have some prime dates left as well as a cancellation. Give us a call on an e mail and we will set you up with a great day on the Muskegon River in Michigan.

The fishing has been good the last couple days. With falling water levels and cold nights the fishing has slowed. We have boated 14 Beautiful Muskegon River Steelhead in the last two days. We have hooked in excess of 20 fish. Al even learned the fly rod as well as the center pin reel. The fish are hitting the gravel better now and more and more Steelhead are showing themselves dailsy. Please realease all spawning females as they are the future of our fishery. Take a photo and let then go, this will ensure great fishing in our future and it will make you feel better as well.

The fishing is really really great right now on the Muskegon River. We are having in excess of 15 hook ups per day. Most of our fishing is being done from Henning Park to Old Womens Bend. For flies try egg patters and stone fly patterns. Steelhead buggers are also great nymphs to try. Salmon and This Easter morning was absolutly wonderful. There were alot of cooperative Muskegon River Steelhead. We hooked 12 fish this morning aand were off the water at 11:30 am, home in plenty of time for Easter dinner with our familys. Look for the fishing to only get better now with more fish showing up on the gravel everyday. Beware of the boats if you are going to the upper stretches of the Muskegon River. Steelhead roe are also working well for those who use bait. Pulling plugs is also working very well.

The fishing is excellent now and will continue throughout the month of April for Steelhead as well as trout. Ryan caught his first steelhead today fishing with salmon roe and a float. Watching this young man catch his first fish was truly amazing. We are getting good numbers of fish. With water temps rising daily the fishing on the Muskegon River will only improve with the Steelhead starting to hit the gravel it will remain on fire.

Mike took his first Great lakes Steelhead on a center pin today and now he is hooked and will more than likley investing in this deadly Steelhead fishing setup. Centerpin fishing the rivers of Western Michigan is truley amazing and very exciting.

We spent the morning fishing runs and seams next to pocket water and the half day trip turn out very nice. It was a great way for jeff to start out his spring break.
